Candidates seeking alternative certification participate in one of the TeachSWLA programs and may find information on those programs at the TeachSWLA area of this site. Initial certification candidates complete their certification applications during the last seminar of their clinical experience semester. For interns, this is completed at the last seminar of their second semester. Candidates seeking add-on certification should consult the add-on endorsement requirements listed on the TeachLouisiana Web site.
